Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Operations for our Spot Trading division. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the operational aspects of our spot trading activities. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Spot Trading and Financial Markets, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in managing trading operations efficiently. Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is essential for working with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the spot trading operations team, ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations. Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance performance and support business objectives.
• Design, implement, and refine operational processes and procedures to improve efficiency, accuracy, and risk management in spot trading activities.
• Oversee all aspects of spot trading operations, including order execution, trade settlement, and reconciliation. Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks related to spot trading activities. Implement controls and processes to safeguard the integrity and accuracy of trading operations.
• Collaborate with IT and technology teams to ensure that trading systems and tools are effectively integrated and optimized for operational efficiency. Stay abreast of technological advancements and recommend improvements.
• Monitor and analyze trading performance metrics, generate reports, and provide insights to senior management. Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of trading operations.
• Mentor, train, and develop the spot trading operations team. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Set performance goals and provide regular feedback.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in trading operations, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role within a spot trading environment.
• Strong understanding of spot trading markets and financial instruments.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in trading systems and financial software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
