As a Senior Software Engineer - Infrastructure, you will be working with our Infrastructure team and learn about building and maintaining reliable engineering systems that support blockchain based products and clients using it.

As a Senior Software Engineer - Infrastructure you will:

• Design and provide best practices in terms of cloud-infrastructure provisioning and usage of several cloud services.
• Foster excellence in development teams in points of security, scalability, and reliability.
• Setup and maintain monitoring, metrics, and alerting systems for fine-grained observability of the entire infrastructure.
• Automate the build and deployment processes for our engineering teams.
• Provide technical guidance and tools for our engineering teams for faster releases.
• Support the engineering teams on their microservice principles and architectural approaches.
• Actively participate in architecture discussions and propose solutions to system and product changes across teams.
• Be part of an on-call schedule (24x7) handling incident management to the engineering teams.
• Write documentation and training to onboard and level up the infrastructure knowledge within the organisation.

Basic Qualifications:

• experienced with cloud technologies such as AWS/Google Cloud/Azure
• knowledge of application external infrastructure (eg. databases, message queues)
• experience with monitoring and alerting technologies such as Grafana and Prometheus
• experience with CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, CloudBuild, Argo, etc
• VCS
• Ability to write code for infrastructure-related tools for developers

Preferred Qualifications:

• extensive knowledge of cloud technologies and cloud computing
• extensive knowledge of container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes
• Hands on experience with deploying and maintaining various databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, etc
• Hands on experience with deploying and maintaining MQ services such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ, NATS
• Incident response management
• Ability to build complex CI/CD pipelines
