About the position:

MoonPay is looking for a Senior Product Manager or Product Lead to join our Shared Services group and lead the Risk Squad. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development of our Risk team, working very closely with our Payment Fraud Operation teams.. As a key member of the Product Team, you will work closely with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class experiences for our users.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of building scalable products that have been used by millions of people. You should also have a deep understanding of UX, conversion optimization. Experience working with Web3 and crypto-related products is desirable but not essential.

You'll Spend Your Time :

  • Collaborate with FinCrime operations teams to help define controls and support in the interpretation of global regulation to ensure our in house built AML and Fraud product is best in class

  • You’ll own risk control automation, machine intelligence and operational excellence as focus areas for the Risk Squad

  • You’ll be responsible for building vision and goals of the Risk Squad, how to measure them and how to set the right KPIs to measure success - you'll make the decisions and define the product strategy with the team

  • You will combine human expert knowledge with complex Machine Learning technology to exceed industry standards in customer risk scoring, and build a unified risk vision, while guaranteeing a great experience for good customers and compliance with regulations around the world

  • You’ll motivate teams by developing and constantly sharing a compelling vision for the product, driven by customer insight and data. You will be a thought leader in risk, working with other product teams to help them understand and measure risks and providing insights and data where necessary

  • Manage stakeholders – you’ll know when to listen, but also have the conviction to deliver hard messages

  • You’ll clearly define success and evaluate progress with both qualitative and quantitative methods for the capabilities and adoption of the platform

You Should Apply If:

  • Self-starter, ability to deliver in a hypergrowth environment

  • You have some experience in Risk, Security, Trust & Safety or Compliance and evaluate product decisions with a risk impact mindset

  • An open mindset, able to balance the requirements of multiple teams to deliver the widest benefit to the business

  • You have worked with a distributed operations team and built product capabilities that help operations grow sustainably, improve efficiency and reach operational excellence.

  • An analytical approach, you know what to look for and which metrics to focus on

  • You have an understanding of how systems are built, and you’re able to write your own SQL to help your team prioritise and ship new features

  • Experience in shipping products in highly regulated industries such as Financial Services, Crypto, Payment Treasury, Lending, Investments, etc. comply with current regulation and leveraging regulatory changes in the space

  • Engineering/Computer Science background or understanding of APIs is desirable but not necessary

  • Senior Stakeholders management, ability to pitch your solution to C-level Executives
