Locations Supported 🌍

This role will be hybrid if in one of our hubs, and will require you to spend some portion of your time in our office in one of these locations.
About The Opportunity ✍️
Reporting directly to the VP of Operations, you'll be responsible for launching new payment methods, optimizing conversion rates, enhancing the onboarding process and building strong relationships with business partners.
The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and execute the payment operation roadmap and strategy.
What You Will Do…
Build and scale the payment operations function at MoonPay, with a focus on optimizing revenue opportunities across existing and new payment methods
Support launches of new payment methods and related initiatives, with a relentless focus on customer experience
Lead end to end optimization opportunities, partnering with internal stakeholders (product, engineering, data, finance, compliance and operations) and external payment partners
Leverage product, technology, data and operational solutions to yield high impact outcomes
Set a high bar for operational excellence, developing clear KPIs, workflows and strategies that will enable MoonPay to operate at scale with a data-driven mindset
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices, trends, and performance benchmarks to ensure we remain at the forefront of the payments industry.

You have a strong background in business operations and a good understanding of the payments industry. Your technical skills allow you to bridge the gap between product management and business needs.
You enjoy working with data, setting metrics, and analyzing performance. Your ability to automate processes and track key indicators enables informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities while remaining focused on delivering results. Your critical thinking and problem-solving skills are top-notch.
You enjoy building strong relationships with both internal teams and external partners, to help us achieve the best possible deals where we can when relating to cost per transaction.

What You Will Need…
4+ years of experience in payment operations: building and scaling the function, but also not afraid to roll up your sleeves
Demonstrable experience working across the general payments landscape, with deep domain understanding of payment providers and methods
Strong research, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with data gathering, analysis and automation.
Ideally experience and track record of building successful products, ideally in FinTech, using data, customer feedback and identifying market opportunities.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Experience in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
