About NEAR Balkans Hub (NBH):

NEAR Balkans Hub is among the first NEAR Ecosystem Regional Hubs set up globally.

It was established through a collaboration between the NEAR Foundation and the Borderless Tech Association. NEAR Balkans was created in order to promote and accelerate web3 open source eco-system development. NEAR Balkans will operate and coordinate with the communities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Serbia, and Slovenia.

About the role:

We are hiring a Designer who will work closely with the marketing team, video producers to brainstorm and create high-quality content that reflects branding priorities. From logos, GIFs, flyers to business cards, and Product sneak peek videos, we are looking for an experienced designer who knows how to visualize & create a memorable brand identity.

Someone who can use his/hers creative background to create powerful stories that capture an audience and leave them wanting more.

Responsibilities:

· Create, produce and manage high-quality content

· Developing brand identity, brand book & guides

· Delivering a wide range of formats and techniques - from promotional Print and Offline Media Design towards GIFs and short animations that are used to entertain audiences

· Working with content and social media teams in developing the visual identity of different projects

· Respond to user feedback, data/analytics, and client feedback to improve the creative work in future iterations

· Participate in brainstorming sessions to share new design perspectives and ideas

Requirements:

· Strong technical skills and proven ability to use a variety of software (Photoshop, 2D/3D animation, Figma, Adobe After Effect)

· The ability to partner with other creative team members and key stakeholders to create content used across a variety of platforms (social media, web, mobile, video, and more)

· Able to work in a fast-paced environment and have strong project management skills

· Good verbal and written communications skills required in both English and one of the local Balkan languages

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills

· Ability to comprehend and uphold brand style guidelines, producing

· Ability to solve an array of challenges through visual design

· Must be able to mediate creative problems to arrive at the best solution

· Manage time effectively, ability to multitask and meet deadlines

· Detail-oriented individuals who review their work carefully, quality control is key.

· Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaborate with a team

· Professional demeanor with a high degree of comfort speaking with internal clients

· Be a great communicator, receive and interpret feedback, and meet tight deadlines.
