Who is NDC GWG?

The NEAR Digital Collective (NDC) is an ambitious project that brings together users, projects, stakeholders and partners of the NEAR ecosystem to create a radically new way of governing itself.

The Governance Working Group (GWG) is a community-led working group that creates evolving governance models and frameworks for adoption by the NDC.

About the position

We’re looking for a Sr. Full Stack Engineer to join our team. You’ll have an opportunity to work across our entire NEAR-based web3 stack on cutting-edge technology that reshapes the governance system. If you’re a person who values the ability to help other people excel and collaborate with other teams, this is a role for you. You’ll be a heavily relied on individual by the engineering team, and the organisation at large.

Responsibilities

You will be working with other developers and support external teams to integrate with the NDC Governance stack.

• Building web3 frontends and integrating with various wallets and smart contracts
• Integrating with a software development team and working closely with a technical project manager.
• Conducting technical due diligence and understanding dynamics/tradeoffs between different software development technologies and approaches.
• Code review and quality assurance.

Skill and Qualifications

• Strong engineering fundamentals
• 5+ years of software engineering
• 2+ years of React development experience
• 1+ years of web3 development experience
• Strong familiarity with Linux/Terminal environments
• Depth of knowledge and implementation experience
• Experience with Software Testing
• Creativity in solving problems
• Being open to providing and receiving constructive feedback
• Passion for learning and teaching others
• CI/CD setup experience
• High-quality testing standards
• Good documentation practices
• Maintain high code quality standards.
