About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Analyst, Compliance (Senior Business Analysis Manager) to join our progressive data team.This role involves serving as the product analytics lead for our Compliance & Identity team, focusing on a suite of tools like KYC/KYB and sanctions screening. The primary objective is to improve key metrics such as pass rate, time-to-verify, and cost-per-approval by utilizing data, experimentation, and risk-based decisions. This position requires collaboration with various teams, including Product and Engineering, to set the product roadmap and ensure compliance with global regulations.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own the KPI tree for onboarding & compliance journeys, application conversion, pass rate, step-level drop-off, manual-review plus operational health metrics (e.g., queue SLAs, rework loops, operational analytics).
  • Experimentation & optimization: Design/run A/B tests and pragmatic pre/post analyses on friction points, quantify conversion, risk and ops capacity.
  • Partner with Compliance/DS to calibrate CRR thresholds, EDD triggers and tailoring for products and markets.
  • Regulatory & audit readiness: Produce reproducible analyses and clear narratives explaining metric movements, decisions, and outcomes.
  • Enable self-service: Build trustworthy, documented dashboards and curated datasets, so Compliance, Ops, and PMs can independently track performance and SLAs.
  • Performance & drift monitoring: Build dashboards for model/rule health (precision/recall, alert mix, drift, data freshness/quality)
  • Regulatory & audit readiness: Produce reproducible analyses, coverage assessments, and defensible narratives that explain metric movements and product outcomes to auditors and regulators.
  • Partner with DS & Investigations: Translate typologies and investigator feedback into measurable product signals. Validate whether features/rules improve real-world outcomes.
  • Stay informed on advancements in data analytics, product analytics practices, and trends in the financial services industry.

What We Look For In You

  • Product analytics experience (mid to senior levels considered) in tech, fintech, regtech, traditional finance or risk industries. Comfortable owning metrics and decision frameworks end-to-end.
  • Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with big data and cloud technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, MaxCompute, Google BigQuery, or equivalent platforms is essential.
  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis, feature engineering, and building analytics pipelines. Ability to complement SQL with Python-based workflows.
  • Hands-on with BI and product analytics tools (e.g., DataWind,Tableau/Amplitude), capable of designing event taxonomies and reliable dashboards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to draw insights and make strategic recommendations based on data, including statistical analysis and experiment design.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex data findings to stakeholders, including product or compliance teams and senior leadership.
  • Collaborative and adaptable mindset, thriving in fast-paced and dynamic work environments.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with a commitment to continuous learning and development.
  • Nice to have: exposure to crypto/VASP regulations and typical AML data flows (KYC/KYB, CDD, EDD, CRR, TM, CMS)
