About the Opportunity
As our Head of Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Hungary's operations, driving strategic initiatives, and enhancing our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership & Transformation:
- Develop and execute a robust operational strategy for Europe.
- Drive transformation initiatives to continuously enhance service quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction in a 24x7 environment.

- Global & Local Integration:
- Serve as the primary liaison between OKX Europe market teams and local business units, ensuring consistent execution of the European best-practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and cross regional teams - including customer service, fraud risk management, quality assurance, technology, and automation - to deliver seamless, round-the-clock, customer centric operations.

- Operational Excellence & 24x7 Management:
- Oversee end-to-end operational processes, including real-time performance monitoring, risk management, and crisis resolution.
- Implement an efficiency focused, advanced process optimization, optimal level of resource utilisation, automation, and continuous improvement programs tailored for high-availability, 24x7 operations.
- Be at the forefront of AI implementation in our European operations to help with automation, and customer-centric improvements.

- Stakeholder & Financial Management:
- Cultivate strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and drive operational performance.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial management, ensuring cost efficiencies while sustaining operational stability, scalability and profitability.
- Year on year cost efficiency delivery as per market needs

- Talent Development & Culture Building:
- Recruit, mentor, and empower a diverse team, instilling a culture of accountability, agility, and innovation.
- Implement robust talent management and succession planning strategies to build long-term organizational capability.

What We Look For In You
- Bachelor's degree with relevant experience in financial services.
- Past experience of operational leader as first line of defense owner in a global regulated financial or fintech business with
- Proven analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and a control mentality paired with meticulous attention to detail.
- 5-10 years of experience, fintech and/or crypto experience nice to have.
- Self-driven quality and able to work under pressure with uncompromised integrity.
- Strong organizational skills as well as the ability to effectively manage competing priorities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with global members of cross-functional teams.
Nice to Haves
- Ideally, recent crypto exposure and a keen interest in crypto.
- You are already an expert in the blockchain and cryptocurrency landscape and understand how speculators, traders, digital asset exchanges, blockchain money services businesses and financial institutions operate.
- Experience working in disruptive technology, successfully launching products, ideally, within FinTech, trading, eCommerce, SaaS, or Digital Wallet business experience.
- A history (and preference) of being both strategic, analytical and execution-oriented.
- Experience working with teams across offices and timezones.
