Role Overview:
SWEAT Economy is seeking a highly driven and ambitious Business Development Executive to join our rapidly growing team. In this role, you'll have the exciting opportunity to play a key role in expanding our network of partners within the dynamic Web3 space. While you will receive mentorship and support, this role is about actively identifying, engaging, and closing deals with up-and-coming Web3 companies. You'll be given the autonomy to manage your own pipeline, develop your negotiation skills, and directly contribute to the growth of the Movement Economy.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and Secure Partnerships: Proactively research and identify potential partners within the Web3 ecosystem, focusing on emerging companies that align with Sweat Economy's mission and target audience.
Lead Generation & Outreach: Develop and execute outreach strategies to engage key decision-makers at target companies. Craft compelling pitches that highlight the value proposition of partnering with Sweat Economy.
Strategic Partnership Development: Develop and execute strategic plans to onboard these partners, aligning their needs with Sweat Economy's offerings.
Negotiation & Deal Closing: Lead negotiations and close deals (often exceeding $20,000) with new partners, securing mutually beneficial agreements that drive growth for both parties.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, serving as their primary point of contact and ensuring their ongoing success.
Go-to-Market Collaboration: Work closely with the Head of Business Development and other internal teams (marketing, product, legal) to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new partners and support the execution of joint marketing campaigns.
Market Analysis & Reporting: Stay informed about the latest developments in the Web3 space, tracking competitor activity and identifying new opportunities. Provide regular reports on your pipeline, deal flow, and key performance indicators.
Skills and Qualifications:
Demonstrable Sales/Partnership Aptitude: 2+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or digital sales, with a demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful growth strategies. Experience within the Web3 or tech space is highly desirable
Exceptional Client Relationship Management Skills: A proven track record of building and nurturing strong relationships with C-suite executives and key decision-makers. You excel at understanding client needs and tailoring solutions to achieve their objectives.
Sales & Marketing Acumen: Experience in crafting compelling pitches and narratives that resonate with target audiences. Familiarity with marketing principles and user acquisition strategies.
Master Negotiator: Experience negotiating and closing complex, high-value deals (exceeding $20,000). You're adept at finding mutually beneficial solutions and securing win-win outcomes.
Data-Driven Decision Making: You leverage data and analytics to inform your strategies, measure performance, and optimize results.
Passion for Web3: A deep understanding of the Web3 ecosystem, including its key players, emerging trends, and potential opportunities. You're excited about the future of decentralized technologies and their impact on the world.
Experience in Media Advertising, or Sponsored Partnerships (preferred but not essential)
