Smashverse is looking for an experienced Materials and Texture Artist, with experience in making clothes for characters, to join our team.

Key responsibilities
Liaising with 3d Artists, Lead Artist, and Creative Director for the surface quality to be delivered
Researching reference materials for aesthetics and genre of the Smashverse game,and style
Develop and refine textures and materials during the production process
Collaborate with animators and modelers on the best textures for each object and character
Create a diverse and compelling range of textures that will engage the player and enhance the uniqueness and diversity of the Characters.
UV mapping
Maintain a high level of stylistic design and photorealism throughout
Skills + Requirements
Creative, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a visual effects artist.
3+ years experience working as a Materials and Texture artist.
Bachelor's or associate's degree in computer animation, multimedia studies, graphic design, or a related field.
Strong working knowledge of software tools, especially Substance
Houdini, Unity, Dreamweaver, Adobe CS5, and Autodesk Maya a bonus.
Excellent computer skills and attention to detail.
Good drawing skills and creativity.
Excellent time management skills.
Strong communication and active listening skills.
