Smashverse is looking for an experienced Materials and Texture Artist, with experience in making clothes for characters, to join our team. Producing high-quality, anatomically feasible, stylised character models in line with the Smashverse look and reference material
Ability to work at high-poly and efficiently convert to a quality low-poly mesh
Interpret abstract ideas or concept art into the creation of compelling stylised character
Ensuring consistency of UV mapping and polygonal subdivisions
Facilitate the creation of high-quality photo-real texture maps
Researching reference materials for aesthetics and genre for our game
Skills + Requirements
Creative, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a 3D Character Artist.
3+ years experience working as a 3D Character artist.
Strong working knowledge of software tools, including Blender.
Unreal, Houdini, Unity, Dreamweaver, Adobe CS5, and Autodesk Maya a bonus
Excellent computer skills and attention to detail.
Good drawing skills and creativity.
Excellent time management skills.
Strong communication and active listening skills.
