The team is working on a free-to-play brawl game with MMORPG mechanics - think WWE meets World of Warcraft. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to be able to work on a greenfield product and be able to contribute to new game-mechanic functionalities.
The Head of Marketing will be a strategic leader in the team. Ideal candidates are passionate about GameFi and web3.
They will develop strategic and tactical marketing differentiators that are critical to success of the Smashverse. Ideally they are an individual who is willing to be hands-on, has high-energy, and is able to manage and support a team who can thrive in fast-paced and highly demanding environments.
The role is a full-time salaried position, there is also a generous incentive package too, so

What will you do?
Build upon the core marketing strategy for scaling up the business
Forecast periodical (monthly, quarterly, annual) user acquisition growth and costs.
Develop marketing execution plans and deliver on acquisition targets within time and budget.
Come up with new ideas for internal and external campaigns that would appeal to the masses.
Build and lead a team of community and campaign managers and analysts.
Allocate marketing resources to different campaigns based on budget.
Have a measurement-driven mindset to measure, optimize and scale new advertising and organic growth channels.
Work with the Head of Community to increase & sustain the activity of the community through paid or organic marketing interaction.
What are we looking for?
5+ years of digital marketing experience with at least 6 months of experience in gaming/blockchain projects.
Solid experience building and leading world-class teams to achieve targets.
Very strong understanding of the creative process and marketing communication to drive user acquisition using both digital and brand marketing.
Able to work seamlessly with both highly creative and highly analytical people.
Strong skills in management and analysis of the entire acquisition funnel from creative design to media buying to user acquisition.
Hands-on experience is a must. Strong understanding of how to drive user acquisition on multiple advertising channels. Experience in running user acquisition campaigns on Facebook, Google Search, Display, Affiliates is a significant plus.
Strong understanding of setting and executing A\B tests to drive conversion rate improvement.
